Michigan man arrested for sexually assaulting child for several years
A Michigan man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child for years.
The investigation into the alleged sexual assaults began in October 2023 when Michigan State Police interviewed a child at Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center in Grand Traverse County.
Wayne County man arrested in Kentucky for alleged role in $1.2M Corvette theft
A man from Westland has been arrested for his alleged role in the theft of $1.2 million worth of Corvettes in Kentucky.
They were stolen from the GM Bowling Green Assembly on Saturday, March 22.
University of Michigan ends DEI programs, shifts focus to other student resources
The University of Michigan has decided to make some significant changes to its diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
Those changes involve closing the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion. Additionally, the university’s DEI 2.0 Strategic Plan — which started in 2023 and was expected to run through 2028 — will be discontinued.
